Ran of the treadmill.  My knee started to hurt so I stopped.

I went and donated blood today. I was glad to hear that they wanted my blood. Last time I tried to donate my hemaocrit (iron levels) were too love. I was a 35 last time and a 40 this time. When I was done the Vampire told me not to be out in the sun much till Sat. I told her I was going biking on Friday. She told me NO Sat. I forgot to ask her "Why".

Well I didn't listen to the Vampire I went biking 2 hours later. I took my 2 year old boy Loren in the bike stroller for a 9 mile bike. Boy did that stroller slow me down. It was a nice workout even though I wasn't going that fast, but I worked hard.

Biked this moring pulling the kids while my wife ran.  Started at the capital and headed for the zoo via the U of U.  If any of you have run this way, you would know that this is not a easy run.  I love running this route and taking on the hills.  But Pulling a bike trailer was tuff.  I have two kids, Natalie about 35 lbs and Loren 25 lbs.  Now add on the about 10 -15 lb for the trailer it self. Have you ever tryed to pull 80 lbs up a steep hill?  Not much fun, my quads killed.  This is one of the best work outs my quads have had in months.

Once we hit the 'U' I made a little detour to Foothill Blvd to find a gas station to get a treat for the kids.  They have been so good riding in the trailer even after finding out the batties on the DVD player were dead.  Met back up with Laurie by the post office on Sunnyside just before the Zoo.  The ride back was much easier than the trip out.  Yes there was still some good sized hills to climb but nothing like the ride out.  In the end I did 22 mles with all my looping back to stay with Laurie.  When I got back to the capital I stoped to take to the kids and they didn't relpy.  I didn't know riding in a bike trailer could be so tiring.

I have found a Century that I want to do.  It is the end of Sept. and starts in Heber.

Got up at 6:15 and biked 15.3 miles at on ave of 16.4 mph.  I took it easy but not too easy.  I thought I had bike far enough from my house that I didn't have to do loops up and down side streets to get my 15 in.  I biked west to about 6200 w and then headed east to the frontege road of 201.  Went South past the Rock Mountian race way to about 4000 w.  The hills in lake park weren't that bad and I able to maintain a nice 16 mph up the hills.  From here I took more turns than I want to list or bore you with the details.

Ran out side for the first time in about .... I don't know how long it has been but its has been at least a month.  I walked for 1:30 min at about 14:00 to 15:00 min pace and ran for 2:30 min at a 7:40 to 8:00 min pace.  It felt good to run out side.

Ran 3 miles on the treadmill in 30 min.  My legs felt tired and tight when I started but felt better  after the first mile.  I would run for 2:30 min at about a 8:13 pace and then walk for 1:30 mins at about 14:38 pace.  I am slowly working back up.
